My scale malfunctioned this morning and read 121 lbs. I’m pretty glad it was wrong, because if I look like I do now at 121 lbs, then that’s a little depressing… instead, I lost about half a pound! Yay!

Argh, I just tried to do W2 D1 of C25K, but my stomach muscles are killing me. I’m fairly sure it’s cause I’m on my period, doesn’t help that I haven’t eaten since 1, and that was a salad. It’s so frustrating, but I know I should stop and do some stationary cycling or something instead later, because this is not the good kind of pain.

Just did day 3 of C25K. Part of me can’t actually believe I’m doing this. It makes me so happy to be among those who have the strength and the will to push themselves and run. Compared to most other people, I still suck at running, but at least I’m trying!

Blargh, I kind of screwed up a little. Again. There’s always an excuse to give in and eat what I want especially when it’s right there and being offered to me and I still managed to lose half an inch off my thighs but I am kind of annoyed that it’s coming up to one of my milestones that I will miss.

Most Stupid Workout Injuries
So I was on my exercise bike, which is a pretty crappy old thing; its not one of those reclining things, just a normal lookin’ bike with straps that go round. There’s a timer and speedometer stuck on the frame at the front. Long story short, my right trouser leg got stuck on the dial as my leg headed down, then pulled my leg back into the dial. Now I have a huge lump on my leg.

Changed my stats
I bumped them all up by 2lbs because I realised I was taking off 2lbs with wii fit when I shouldn’t have. It’s the first time I’ve weighed myself in weeks of being not so good and I gained 1lb, which is bad, but not a catastrophe. Basically, I have 11lbs left to lose. I want to lose them all by May 6th. Today I had a salad for lunch and oh boy it was a damn awesome salad. Later on in the day two of my best friends got chips (fries) and the one sitting next to me had so much melted cheese on hers and ketchup and she ate it all and I could smell it aaaargh… but then I got distracted because I found an extra grape in my lunchbox so that made me happy. I honestly never thought that my favourite part of the 30 day shred workout would be the cardio. I mean really… cardio?! ME?! But damn, I was doing those butt kicks with a huge grin on my face, because it just felt great. And I ordered myself some awesome underwear so that felt great too. <3

Saturday Morning Weigh In
Ok, this is bullshit. In the past four weeks, NOTHING HAS HAPPENED. My net gain/loss in four weeks is ZERO. I have been working so hard (I pulled a muscle in my leg :<) doing the 30 day shred, doing pilates, exercise bike, one legged squats, etc. I have been eating well. I just don’t know what to do. When this plateau first started I thought it was temporary and I just had to keep going....

One-legged squats are so difficult! The constant ache reminds me that I’m working hard, though, so that’s nice. I also tried on this old skirt of my mum’s the other day, it was about size 6/8 (that’s 2/4 for americans I think) and she warned me not to try it on because it was tiny but I managed to get it on, zip and button it!
